Twilight score: A+++
WOW.
Twilight was absolutely amazing! I loved every bit of the movie for sure!
Of course, however, the books are better... and anyone going to see the movie who haven't read the book- please read the book! The movie did change up a few things, but I expected as much because they always do that when they turn books into movies.
Either way, it was truly great and I will definitly be seeing it again in theatres soon before its out of theatres- so I won't have bad withdrawals waiting on it to come out on DVD- LoL!
Definitly a must see movie.. just... WOW.
(Read Twilight though.. even if you don't read it before seeing the movie, read it.. seriously. There are things in the book that weren't explained in the movie)
Well, can't stay for a long post tonight- but wanted to let you all know what I thought of the movie

Hello and Happy Wednesday (AKA Hump Day!!) everyone!
Yesterday, I got my Twilight movie tickets so that I will be able to see the movie opening night! I haven't been this excited about a particular movie since the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. LoL. And even then, I didn't see those on opening day, or pre-brought tickets. haha.
Anyways, the movie is Friday... and I'll be sure to write my detailed review Saturday night (without the spoilers, of course, so that if any of you want to see it- I won't ruin it for you). I really hope that the movie does the book justice. That's what I worry about. I love the books so much... I am a bit picky how this movie will turn out. *crosses fingers*
Oh yes- I started a new book series yesterday called the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan. The first book is titled "The Book of Shadows" and it is fiction based around Wicca. I finished the first book in just a matter of a few hours because I couldn't pull my nose from it. For once, I am thrilled to find a book where Pagans/Wiccans are the good guys... and the author did a tremedous job at explaining the beliefs behind Wicca and Wiccan practices. I look forward to reading more into this series as well.

My mind is always full of words and images and ideas... sometimes so much so that I can't seem to put it on paper to share with anyone else and that can be frustrating at times. If someone could read my mind, they would find a multitude of stories and beautiful pictures... along with some very dark images and thoughts as well that I have harbored over the years.
----------------
Have you ever wanted something so badly, that you cried deeply for your passion... knowing that you could achieve it with some extra hard work- but yet at the same time, seeming that its hard and rare to obtain? That's also me.
Writing is my number one passion. My shelves are lined with notebooks and binders and journals full of my stories and poetry and brainstorming ideas. What I wouldn't give to have something, one day, in print for the world to read. No, its not about the money... or the publicity... its about reaching other like minds; opening them up to the world of books and words and imagery.

So, getting past this, I figured I'd share a few of my favorite videos and pictures. If you want to watch the videos, you must stop the music at the top of the page. I have more than this- but only have time to post these few at the moment. It will be extremely late when I get home Friday night, so there may not be a post until Saturday. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your week!
Peace and love my friends
Twilight vid(song: Supermassive Black Hole by Muse): I dunno why- I just think this video is so funny. LoL. (called "Mean Kitty Song")
Green Tip of the Day: Walk up instead of drive thru!
When you are picking up food, going to the bank, filling prescriptions, etc... park your car and walk inside instead of using the drive-through. It will cut down on unnecessary fuel use as well as carbon emissions.
Plus, its good exercise!

I just wanted to make a quick post to wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
Well, let's face it.
I am, and always have been, one HUGE history geek. Not nerd. GEEK. haha. I so badly want to enroll in this college program that I've been looking at that offers bachelors degree in History (minors are Archeology/Anthropology)... but alas.. its extremely expensive and my highschool test scores wouldn't qualify anymore- so I'd have to retake the SATs and ACTs if I did somehow manage to get the funds to enroll. *sighs* Maybe one day...
Anyways... why I am I talking about my love for history, you ask? Recently there was a great discovery- and it was one that I wish I could have experienced for myself...
Here's the news article:

New pyramid found in Egypt
A new pyramid has been discovered deep beneath Egyptian sands, archaeologists announced. The 4,300-year-old monument is believed to be the tomb of Queen Sesheshet, the mother of Pharaoh Teti, the founder ancient Egypt's 6th dynasty. Once nearly five stories tall, the pyramid—or at least what remains of it—lay beneath 23 feet (7 meters) of sand as well as a small shrine and mud-brick walls from later periods. The discovery is the third known "subsidiary" pyramid to the tomb of Teti. It's also the second pyramid discovered this year in Saqqara, an ancient royal burial complex near current-day Cairo. "I always say you never know what the sands of Egypt might hide," said Zahi Hawass, secretary general of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA). "This might be the most complete subsidiary pyramid ever found at Saqqara," added Hawass, who is also a National Geographic Society explorer-in-residence. Surprise in the Sand Archaeologists found remnants of a white limestone casing for the surviving, 16-foot-tall (5-meter-tall) pyramid base. The angle of the base helped them determine that the pyramid's walls stood at a 51-degree angle. Based on that angle, the team determined that the pyramid was originally 46 feet (14 meters) tall and about 72 feet (22 meters) square at its base. The researchers were somewhat surprised to find a pyramid here, since they thought the area had been exhausted.
Archaeologists had already found subsidiary pyramids for Teti's two principal wives Iput I and Khuit, a hundred years ago and in 1994, respectively. Teams have been digging in the area for more than 20 years. "One hundred years ago they used to take sand and put it in unexcavated areas," Hawass said. "The archaeologists in the past used this area as a location for the sand.

In other recent happenings-
I've been continuing my work on my writing... have recently started working on a new story/novel that seems to be going along okay so far. Just started it last month- still a huge brainstorm/rough draft mostly but maybe I'll post up some of it soon for you all to read.
Speaking of reading... I recently read a book called "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. It has to be one of the BEST historical fiction books I've ever read (and I have read a lot). The quick summary of it: The story setting takes place in 1939 Nazi Germany (beginning of and during the holocaust) and follows a young german girl, stealing books/learning to read because of her love for words. Her adoptive family risks everything to hide a Jew in their basement, but the young girl develops a strong bond with him- learning about how cruel the world is. Along the way she meets great friends, good times, bad times.... very sad and tragic tale of love and loss.
And the narrarator of the story puts a new twists/perspectives on things: It's Death (i.e. The Grim Reaper). So full of amazing imagery, accurate history details... I give this book an A+ and highly recommend anyone and everyone to read it if they haven't!!
Well, once again I've found that this post has gotten long enough for now.. although I could just keep typing and typing with many more things to say- but I don't want to run out of topics too soon! LoL. I will post again soon my lovies <3
